Dr. Uzma Alam is a global health professional, researcher, and entrepreneur. She heads a Pan African science, technology & innovation (STI) agenda-setting and policy program that engages Africa’s science and political leaders to identify the top STI priorities for the continent that offer the highest return on investment for Africa’s sustainable development. Additionally, she leads the Biomedical and Health Sciences Portfolio of the Developing Excellence, Leadership, and Training in Science in Africa program (DELTAS).
