I'm passionate about interdisciplinary research that incorporates the fields of Psychology, Neuroscience, and Immunology. I aim for translational research to enable basic laboratory findings to benefit societal health and wellbeing. My interests include  neglected tropical diseases such as Bilharzia (Schistosomiasis), Sleeping Sickness (Trypanosomiasis), Malaria, and Hookworm infection - with concentration on cognitive function and mental health.

I take pleasure in blending art and science, and aspire to take laboratory sciences to young learners by giving them an opportunity to experience intergrating classroom/textbook material with hands on experiments for better grasp of concepts. The Neurites get to enjoy interdisplinary approaches to exploring the world around them, and benefit from interacting with professionals and experts in the fields of S.T.E.A.M.
