Justine is a 21-year-old University of Cape Town (UCT) graduate with an excellent academic record and strong soft skills acquired through a range of extra-curricular projects. She has been in the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation scholarship programme for 3 years, and this organization has fostered her keen interest in business. She majored in physics and computer science, and also has a passion for outerspace and engineering. This year, she is interning at the South African Astronomical Observatory (SAAO), where she is learning invaluable skills and making extraordinary contacts in the fields of astronomy, physics, engineering, and computer science. Next year, she will be doing her Honours in astrophysics and space science at UCT.
