Lize Denner is the Associate Programme Management Officer in the Cluster on Statistics, Information Society & Technology of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (UNESCWA). She is a researcher in the field of technology and innovation for development, currently focusing on the Arab region. Previously she was with the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean as the Economic Commission for Africa. Ms. Denner is a professional information and knowledge manager and holds a master’s degree in Information Science from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa.
