Miwa Furuya is a manager for Department for Promotion of Science in Society, JST, where she is responsible for the promotion of co-creation with various sectors such as “CHANCE”, an open platform for co-designing future society. Prior to that, she has been working on the management of several public funding programs. Before joining JST, she was research associate of RIKEN Center for Developmental Biology. Her academic career, she graduated from the University of Tokyo and received her Ph.D. in 2006.
