Dr Richard Lander Kwame Glover (Pr.Nat.Sci.) is a Biological Scientist with a bias in Food Microbiology. Dr Glover worked as a Research Officer at the then Centre for Scientific Research Into Plant Medicine (CSRPM), [now Centre for Plant Medicine Research (CPMR)] at Mampong-Akwapim in Ghana from December 1991 to April 1996.He joined the Department of Applied Biology, Faculty of  Applied Sciences of the University for Development Studies (UDS), Navrongo Campus, in May 1996 as a lecturer/reseacher in Microbiology. He served as Head of Department and attained the rank of Senior Lecturer before leaving UDS in 2012. While at UDS, Dr Glover also led several phases of DANIDA-sponsored projects on Capability Building for Research in Traditional Fermented Food Processing in West Africa. Dr Glover worked with the International Science Council Regional Office for Africa [ISC ROA] (formerly International Council for Science Regional Office for Africa, Pretoria, South Africa, from June 2012 to March 2021 as a Programme Specialist (Biological Sciences). He has participated in several international training programmes and conferences. Dr Glover has over twenty peer-reviewed journal publications to his credit. He is the Regional Programme Officer and Member of the Steering Committee of the Africa Chapter of the International Network for Governmental Science Advice (INGSA-Africa). Dr Glover is a registered member of the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP).
