Andrés Dario Izeta. Professor at the Department of Anthropology (Córdoba National University). Researcher at the National Research Council of Argentina. Specialist in Argentinas’ central area archaeology and Digital Archaeology (e-Research Infrastructures, ethical issues, open access, open science). Director of the Programa de Arqueología Digital (Digital Archaeology Program). Consulting expert on several university committees related with heritage preservation. Scientific consultant in Argentinian national initiatives on digitization and digital preservation. Director of the open acces journal Revista del Museo de Antropología (Journal of the Anthropology Museum). Author of over 100 publications related to different archaeological issues. Since 2019 is involved in the ARIADNE Plus project, a research project in archaeology funded by the European Commission. It created a searchable catalogue of datasets, including unpublished reports, images, maps, databases and other kinds of archaeological information accessible online. Coordinator of the national Network on Digital Archaeology, which foster the adoption of the UNESCO recommendations on open science. In particular, in the areas of open scientific knowledge, open science infrastructures, open participation of social agents, open dialogue with other knowledge systems of various interest groups, such as aboriginal communities. Collaborator of the Open Knowledge Office at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba.
