Tshiamo Legoale holds a Masters Degree in Environmental Mangement, and an undergraduate qualification in Geology and Mineralogy. She further has qualifications in Mineral Resource Management and is a certified Project Manager.

She spend a decade in the mineral research sector, conducting research on how mineral resources can be used as a tool to change the lives of marginalised Africans. This was done through small-scale mining technology development and transfer by Minteks Small Scale Mining and Beneficiation Division.

She currently occupies the role of Social Manager at the Trans-Caledon Tunnel Authority, a bulk raw water infrastructure development project implimentor for the Department of Water and Sanitation. Here, her responsibilities are centred around Social Risk Mitigation, and ensuring that engineering projects improve the lives of the communities within which they are implimented.
