Meekness Lunga-Ayidu has over 10 years combined experience of leading and delivering education related programmes in the non-profit sector. She is currently the South Africa Science and Higher Education Programme Manager at the British Council. In her role, she oversees multiple collaborative programmes and partnerships between South African and UK Higher Education institutions.

Her academic background is in social development at the Bachelor’s and Honours degree levels and she holds a Master of Philosophy degree in Programme Evaluation from the University of Cape Town and completed a Management Development Programme (MDP) at Stellenbosch University Business School. Meekness is therefore a specialist in design, implementation and oversight of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning systems.

She is passionate about education, youth development and contributing to tackling broader social justice issues.
