I'm a water scientist specialising in the field of water conservation and demand management.  My key focus area are water use efficency in mining and industrial sectors.  Prior to that I was based at DWS Northern Cape Regional Office where my duties mainly involved assessment of water use licence applications as well as verification  of actual water use by the famers.  I also spend 5 years working for the sugar industry in KZN as project technician early in my carrer.
