Dr Funanani Mashau is an Environmental Epidemiologist. In 2019, He completed a PhD. in Public Health from the University of Pretoria. He is a Golden Key member and has been previously awarded NRF Innovation Scholarships for his research. In addition, he has 12 years of educational and hands-on experience in conducting research in areas including Public Health; Environmental Health; Epidemiology; and Biomedical Sciences. Excellent evidence of written Public Health concepts through authored and co-authored scientific publications. Skilled in modern statistical software and programming including IBM SPSS Statistics, STATA, and R Studio. He has a keen interest in teaching, student mentoring, research, and data management.
