Mr Jacob Mphahlela Masingi is a young entrepreneur, engineer, and farmer, who is the Founder of MEMT Technical College (Pty) Ltd, Mphahlela Farming Primary Cooperative, and Vuligqondo Research and Manufacturing Centre NPC. He is currently appointed as Project Leader of Vuligqondo Innovation Networking Platform, and through his leadership, he has empowered more than 5000 youth, women, and people living with disabilities in Mpumalanga via skills development, job creation, and entrepreneurship development opportunities. Mr Masingi is also part of the University of Mpumalanga School Garden Project as Researcher, Community Partner, and Project Implementation Coordinator. To this organization, he brings 10 years of engineering and business experience working for various companies within the education, agriculture, tourism, and engineering sectors. He was once nominated as the Best Breakthrough Mind2Machine of the Year by MTN Business SA and named as future and leading CEO under Creativity and Innovation during TUT Entrepreneurship Week. He also represented MEMT Technical College as a Youth Speaker during the 3rd African Energy Conference organized by the City of Tshwane and CEEP.
