Melinda Mathe is a doctoral candidate with the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences at Stockholm University, Stockholm, Sweden.  Her research focuses on hybrid learning environments and particularly on the use of digital immersive games and simulations in education. At Stockholm University she has also worked on educational capacity development in the EU-Middle East context and contributed to UNESCO´s Education 2030 Agenda on the topic of School Management and Leadership. Previously she's been with UNESCO´s Asia-Pacific Regional Bureau for Education in Bangkok, Thailand where she was focusing on teacher ICT capacity development. She has previously worked on the implementation of information traceability systems in Japan and Singapore. She has a Licentiate degree in Information Society and a MSc degree in International and Comparative Education from Stockholm University, Sweden, and studied Information Technology for Learning at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.
