Ms Matlala is currently studying a Master’s degree in Business Administration with MANCOSA. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management and National Diploma in Public Management.   She is an Assistant Director responsible for Admin coordination and support in the office of the Deputy Director-General: International Cooperation and Resources at the Department of Science and Innovation (DSI), South Africa.  She joined the DSI in 2003 and over the years and in her capacity as an Executive Personal Assistant, she served several Executive members including the former Minister of Science and Techonology Mr Dereck Hanekom, MP, the current Director-General of the DSI, Dr Phil Mjwara, the former CEO of Water Research Council, Mr Dhesigen Naidoo and the current DDG: International Cooperation and Resources, Mr Daan du Toit.
