Dr Elizabeth Mkoba is a Lecturer in IT Project Management, Applied Information Systems, Information and Communication Technologies and Development (ICT4D) and Research Methods at School of Computational and Communication Science and Engineering, The Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology, Arusha, Tanzania.

 

She received her PhD in Information Technology Management from the University of Johannesburg, Johannesburg, South Africa, in 2018. She was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow (2018-2020) from the University of Johannesburg, Johannesburg, South Africa. 

 

Her research interests include IT project success, IT project management audit and assurance, Agile practices to project management, Artificial Intelligence Ethics, Machine learning in project management, Digital transformation strategy development.

 

She is a member of the South African Institute of Computer Scientists and Information Technologists, the Project Management South Africa Association, and the Institute of Information Technology Professionals South Africa. She is a panel member of reviewers of the National Research Foundation, Pretoria, South Africa. She is also a Chartered IT Professional member of the British Computer Society. She is a Global Alumni member of The Royal Princess and the Duke of Edinburgh - Commonwealth Leadership Study Conference.
