Dr. Shadiya Mohamed Baqutayan is a psychologist with Ph.D. from University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), and a license as a practitioner counselor from the Malaysian Psychotherapy Association (MPA/PM 1-127) and Malaysian Society Of Clinical Psychology (MSCP). Currently, she is working as a senior lecturer at University Technology Malaysia. She is good at teaching, analytical thinking, and good at problem-solving. Dr. Shadiya succeeded to publish more than 120 publications, including Scopus, ISI, and H-index Journal on counseling, psychology, management, leadership, innovation, and public health; with citations of about 1073. And she received the award for Author's Award Finalist In A Journal of Indexing 2022 from the University Technology Malaysia. She is, indeed, associated with local and international memberships such as the American Psychological Association (APA) (USA & Canada), the Malaysian Psychotherapy Association (MPA), the American Association Of International Researchers (AAIR) (New York, USA), and Asia-Pacific Chemical, Biological& Environmental Engineering Society (Hong Kong, USA, China). She received a training course on STI Policy from “The University of Manchester” in 2014 and received a professional certificate of STI policy Management with an Excellent Pass from UTM Perdana-ISTIC. Currently, she is working on various projects which include research and consultancy for UTM which to be completed in the coming years. And on top of that, she is representing UTM in a big project with Japan International Cooperation Agency Ogata Sadako Research Institute for Peace and Development (JICA Ogata RI) which is to be completed in the next year.
