Worked as a Conservation Officer at the South African National Biodiversity Institute affiliated with WWF Environmental Leaders Programme. Currently working as an intern at Oppenheimer Generations Research and Conservation. Majored in Geography and Animal, Plant, and Environmental Science (APES) and Geography at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa for my undergraduate qualifications. I’m Pursuing a Master’s degree in Biological Invasion with the School of APES. The project is based on the use of hyperspectral data and satellite imagery to discriminate between the indigenous and exotic Tamarix species in South Africa to assist in establishing the point of biological agent release in critical hotspots.
