Emma Mphahlele's mission is to inspire change by championing inclusion and diversity in access to STEM Education. A thought leader in girls' access to STEM Education, she is was invited by UN Women as a panel speaker on girls education in developing countries, and promoting Gender Equality in Technology through grassroots skills development.

 

Emma is also an award-winning fellow for Tech Women, the US State Department initiative that seeks to empower women in STEM through mentorship and leadership training. 

 

She has over 3 years of experience as an edtech founder with a foundation that has introduced over 1000 school pupils (Neurodivergents and girls) to STEM Education careers. 

 

Nominated as the 2022 top 5 in Africa for Inclusion, Diversity and Equality Disruptor by the Women in Tech Global Movement.

 

Emma serves as a panel speaker on Africa Tech Festival on matters relating to digital skills, you.  She participates in career shows during the National Science Week with SAASTA and DSI in South Africa. Through her initiative ' Robotics with Neurodiverse, Emma is igniting the interest of learners on the spectrum to STEM careers.
