Yandiswa Mtimkulu is a research technician in the Soil and Water Science Programme, ARC Infruitec -Nietvoorbij, Stellenbosch, South Africa. She has her academic background in Horticulture, Soil science, Botany and Agriculture, obtained her Masters degree in Horticulture 2016 from Cape Peninsula university of Technology. The Masters study centered on Monitoring extracellular enzyme activities and microbial population numbers during composting of winery solid waste. She has handled many projects in her capacity as a project leader and project coordinator on different fields of science. Yandiswa is a member of the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions, she has over 10 years’ experience in research.
