Dr A.R. Mulidzi obtained his PhD in Geology from Stellenbosch University. Dr Mulidzi is curretly employed by the Agricultural Research Council as Research Team Manager for Soil & Water Science at Fruits, Vine and Wine institute in Stellenbosch. His research interest includes: Conservation Agriculture, Water Resource management, Soil Quality and Natural resources management. Some of Dr Mulidzi's responsibilities includes: To manage the succesful execution and completion of programs and projects in line with overall corporate Strategy of the ARC and according to scientific standards. Dr Mulidzi is involved with lot of projects that deals with student development and mentoring. Dr Mulidzi was appointed in September 2022 as a member to serve on the committee on Science and Technology under the United Nations Convention to combat Desertification in South africa.
