Dr. Jerolen Naidoo is a Senior Researcher in the Bioengineering & Integrated Genomics Research Group (BIGG) at the South African Council for Scientific and Indstrial Research (CSIR). Jerolen graduated with a PhD in Cell Biology from the University of Cape Town in 2016 and his research interests at the CSIR are focused on the development of functional and feasible tools to democratise access to precision medicine technolgies within Africa. These include the use of induced pluripotent stem cell technologies to support improved pharmacovigilance and harnessing the human microbiome to predict disease risk and clinical outcomes.
