Athule is an R&D engineer at Mintek, a mining consulting company. She hold a Masters degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in Chemical engineering. She has contributed to the body of knowledge through various publications and presenting at local and international  conferences. She is also a science communicator and was recently named a top 3 positive role model in mining sector on the 10th Accenture gendermainstreaming awards.
