Maryse D. NKOUA NGAVOUKA obtained her M.Sc. in Physics in 2009 at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University Marien Ngouabi, Congo-Brazzaville. In 2010, she was selected for a diploma program in condensed matter at the International Center for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Trieste, Italy. Then in 2011, she obtained a three-year fellowship for her thesis, funded by the "European Research Council". She defended her thesis in 2015, at the Department of Physics, option: Nanotechnologies and Nanosciences of the Universita Degli Studi di Trieste, Trieste-Italy. After one year of postdoctoral work in Italy, she decided to return to Congo to share her knowledge. Currently, she is the Advisor to the Scientific Research and Technological Innovation (RSIT) of the Minister of Higher Education and RSTI of the Republic of Congo.She is also a teacher-researcher in the physics department at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University Marien Ngouabi, a Junior Researcher associated with ICTP (Italy) and responsible for the "Research Unit in Nanomaterials and Nanotechnologies", Brazzaville-Congo. She acquired managerial skills after participating in the prestigious 'Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) - Mandela Washington Fellowship' in 2017, Cleveland-USA founded by President Barack OBAMA. She has won several national and international awards and is responsible for funding (Royal Society and OWSD-CRDI) for research projects.
