I am an assistant direct within the department for the past 8 years. My work involves science as I am in the food safety and quality Promotions division. Science is the core of what I do as I look to ensure that i encourage the manufactures,  producers of food ensires that food is safe from the point of Production throughout the value chain till the food is on the table of the consumer ( farm to fork). It is important for me to get more info on the role of science in general so that I can therefore appreciate its role in ensuring that food is safe for consumption. That is, how important is science in food production, food preparation, why should we adopt science in all stages of production in detecting adulteration of food contaminants which poses risks to life of human, animal, and the environment. As a regulator, it is important to attend such forums consistently and get a perspective of other stakeholders regarding the role of science in our daily life. Based on the above, I request to be given accreditation by the organizers to participate in the world science forum. Thanks
