Ms Ntunzi is scientist and environmental assessment practitioner. She has a Masters Degree in Zoology - Marine Ecology and a Master of Environment Degree. Ms Ntunzi has experience in coastal ecology, environmental management and lecturing.

Ms Ntunzi has interests in coastal ecology, marine protected areas and the impact and disposal of sewage sludge from wastewater treatment work.

Her future plans include a PhD study to assess expansion of marine protected areas in the Pondoland area.
