Aresearcher having worked as a research fellow with the World Agroforestry Centre in Kenya, the Austrian Institute of Technology in Austria as research fellow and,the National Agricultural Research Organisation in Uganda as research coordinator, a Co editor for Gene Conserve and, reviewer for many peer reviewed scientific journals in the field of conservation, natural resources and envronment, award winner for anumber of academic and conervation fellowships and grants; World Forestry Institute USA fellow, START (USA) Visiting Scientists fellowship, International Foundation for Science, Austrian Agency for Academic Mobility Fellowship and, Global Green Grants, the Royal Dutch Government-Ecosystems Alliance Grants and ANAFE among others.   I come from Tororo District in Uganda and currently live in Kampala with my Son Canaan Onyango Obbo and Husband Zachery Onyango.
