Prof Vincent Okudoh holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Microbiology from University of KwaZulu-Natal. His research niche areas include bioenergy, bioeconomy, and biotechnology. He leads the Waste2EnergyLab research group at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology and uses modern anaerobic digestion (AD) approaches to convert locally available biomass into bioenergy specifically biogas. He is a member of the Southern African Biogas Industry Association (SABIA).
