I am a Senior Researcher at the University of the Witwatersrand and iThemba LABS since 2018. I receive my PhD from the University of Milan in 2014. My research focuses on the nuclear structure of nuclei using gamma-ray and charged-particle spectroscopy

and, in particular, in the investigation of Giant and Pygmy Resonances with different reaction mechanisms. These topics are relevant not only to understand important aspects of nuclear structure, but also in the description of astrophysical phenomena such as the nucleosynthesis of elements from supernovae explosions.
