Brilliant M. Petja serves the Water Research Commission, South Africa as the Research Manager for Climate Change. He obtained a PhD in GIS and Remote Sensing (Univ. of Limpopo) and has previously served as Research Scientist, Specialist Researcher and Scientific Manager, both in Government Department and Research Parastatal (Agricultural Research Council) in South Africa. He is also a Part-Time Academic at Universities of South Africa and Limpopo. He previously participated in the Expert Teams of UN Office for Outer Space Affairs and the World Meteorological Organization.
