Mrs. Fhumulani Ratshitanga, Chief Executive Officer, Fruit South Africa - A non-profit company and umbrella body that represents the Citrus Growers’ Association of Southern Africa, the South African Table Grape Industry, Hortgro, the South African Subtropical Growers’ Association, Berries ZA and the Fresh Produce Exporters’ Forum. Her career spans over 19 years in the agricultural sector with a mix of operational and leadership roles. She’s worked for the Southern African Confederation of Agricultural Unions; the Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development; and the Perishable Products Export Control Board. Ratshitanga joined Fruit South Africa as Industry Affairs Manager in July 2019 before her appointment as CEO in June 2020. She holds a Master’s Degree in Agriculture (MInstAgrar) from the University of Pretoria, specialising in plant protection, and a BCom. Honours degree in economics from the University of South Africa.
