Enock Rugut earned a Bachelor’s of science degree in General Agriculture from Egerton University and He is currently an Assistant lecturer at Egerton University and an MSc Plant Breeding candidate with special interest in plant improvement currently, he is working on the characterization of advanced potato clones for resistance, stability and agronomic performance. He has been the Research Assistance Officer and crop production personnel for the Seed Potato CARP+ project and COELIB; he assisted in various horticultural and field crops research, field visit and farm clinics. In addition, he also coordinated the process of the development of several crop training modules. He contributed to the increase in crop production by amalgamating the knowledge received in class, training and field experimentation on horticultural crops.
