CV
I am a dynamic and self-motivated individual that is passionate about sustainable energy and climate change. My undergraduate degree was in life and environmental science, majoring in geography and environmnetal management. This was followed by a BSc Hons in Energy Studies. I am currently pursuing my Master's in Energy Studies.
I am passionate about improving communities, therefore I have over 60 hours of community engagement in projects such as: The Grill Cart (where I helped prepare & serve food to more than 1000 students), Dare to Read (where I tutored primary school children), Graduation Assistant (where I ushered parents and graduates and assited in graduation logistics), Recruitment (where I recruited 16 students to join Community Engagement), and Tiger Brands (where I helped prepare more than 500 food parcels for students).
I was a dramatic theater actress at the Art Centre within the University of Johannesburg's Art Centre. I was a Research Volunteer Intern at the Process, Energy & Environmental Technology Station where I fulfilled tasks by supervisors, and did research. I was an Administrative Assistant at Baleka Motors that fulfilled administrative tasks and managemed social media pages.
I then became an Environmental Communications intern at GreenMatter where I managed social media, wrote blogs and newsletters. I am currently an Energy Advisor at Sustainable Energy Africa.
