Anne is the Manager of the Data, Products and Society (DPS) Node of the South African Polar Research Infrastructure (SAPRI). SAPRI is designed as a consortium hosted at the South African Environmental Observation Network (SAEON). The DPS Node of SAPRI is hosted at the University of Stellenbosch, and is planned to bring together the SAPRI Data Centre, the various types of generated data and downstream products, including modelling, and the societal outreach program. As manager of DPS, Anne's role is to bring the DPS infrastructure together with its different components to support the community of SAPRI and all its stakeholders, thus ensuring the data centre, products, and society is made available to all stakeholders, and national and international communities are kept informed about the work done by South Africa in the polar environment.

Anne is the South African representative on the Standing Committee on Antarctic Data Management (SCADM) at the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR), and also serves on the South African National Committee for SCAR. She is also serving her second term on SANAP’s Prince Edward Island Advisory Committee, and is also a member of SCAR's Equity, Diversity and Inclusivity Committee as part of the action group compiling SCAR's Code of Conduct. Anne was also a member of a working group formed to align the data policies of international scientific bodies coordinating research in the polar regions on which the SCAR data policy was based.
