Anelda has a background in Bioinformatics but transitioned into transdisciplinary work over the last few years. In 2015 she founded a South African-based consultancy, Talarify, to support digital and computational capacity and community development within African research settings. Her work focuses on open science, open educational resources, reproducible research, and communities of practice.
