My name is Yaye Deffa Wane, I'm a young Senegalese. I love nature. hence my passion for biology. It led me to embrace the science of agronomy upon graduation. I am a Ph.D. student specializing in agroecology, lately a research assistant in the Wagrinnova project where I am doing my thesis. This project brings together a group of multidisciplinary researchers whose objectives are to strengthen the resilience of small farmers. It is part of the context of climate change and advocates co-innovation between different actors to achieve self-sufficiency for farmers through the optimization of resources. I have a Master's degree in Vegetable Production and Agronomy. My internships have allowed me to discover the rice value chain from varietal selection to processing through production in rice fields.I have experience in agribusiness working in the export of fruits and vegetables. I also have knowledge of the marketing and extension of vegetable seeds.I am a sociable, generous, and very curious person.
