Khwezi Zwane is a 3rd-year medical student at the University of Cape Town. She has served as the Head of Global Surgery for the UCT Surgical Society and was recently appointed Vice-President Internal for 2023. As someone who aims to advocate for patients in the health system, she has a keen interest in how multi-sectoral collaboration can strengthen health systems within the African context.
