Ms. Jessica Ives has a background in highly collaborative work in the Laurentian Great Lakes basin of North America and is currently the Special Projects Coordinator at the Great Lakes Fishery Commission (www.glfc.org) in Ann Arbor, MI, USA. In this role, she supports various largescale fishery-focused projects, including selective fish passage and fish movement work. Jessica served on the International Association for Great Lakes Research (IAGLR) Board of Directors for two terms, during which time she assisted in the development of a new International Committee focused on strengthening the international breadth of the association. She is also the Technical Editor for the Journal of Great Lakes Research, where she serves as liaison between authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher.

Jessica received Bachelor of Mathematics (2010) and Master of Science (2013) degrees at the University of Waterloo, in Waterloo, Canada. During her MSc she used stable isotopes to examine spatial and temporal trophic niche use by the invasive bloody red shrimp (Hemimysis anomala) in the Great Lakes basin. Her interests lie in food-web and energy dynamics of large lake systems, and whole-ecosystem perspectives on natural resource issues.
