Mr. Hambani Masheleni is a holder of an MSc Applied Physics and BSc Physics Honours degrees. He has a broad range of training and work experience in public sector through promoting formulation and implementation public policies. Currently he is Acting Director for Education, Science, Technology and Innovation at the African Union Commission. Mr. Masheleni is involved in the implementation of the African Union strategies foe education (CESA 16-25), and research and innovation (STISA-2024) within the overall broader African Union Agenda 2063, and global agendas.
