Moses Samje is an Associate Professor of Biochemistry and Chair of the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Bamenda, Cameroon. He takes interest in the discovery and development of drugs against neglected tropical diseases with a focus on filariasis. Moses is a founding member of the Cameroon Academy of Young Scientists, and a Fellow of the Africa Science Leadership Programme. The Fulbright Research Scholar was an awardee of the 2020 RSTMH Small Grant to study the interrelationships between onchocerciasis and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Moses has over 33 scientific publications in international peer-review journals.
