Dr. Inkyoung Sun is a research fellow at the Science and Technology Policy Institute (STEPI) in Korea. Her research areas are Science, Technology and Innovation (STI), public policy, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), international relations, and energy innovation. Dr. Sun is a vice-chair of the OECD Global Science Forum (GSF) and delegation of Korea to OECD GSF, and serves as a steering/expert group member in the OECD projects on ‘Research Integrity and Security within the Global Science Ecosystem’ and ‘STI Financing for the SDGs.’ In 2021 she has also joined the UNESCO Science and Technology Policy Asian Network (STEPAN) as a vice-chair in the theme of SDGs Technologies. She holds her Ph.D. in Science and Technology Policy from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and her M.A. in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania in the United States
